Elements of this project include new roadways, creek channel, trail work, parks and private investment, with homes and businesses removed from flood‑plain designation. The Antelope Valley Project also provides a hub for Lincoln’s extensive trail system. Project trails parallel the new Antelope Valley Parkway and provide connections to other trails. A trail lines the Antelope Creek flood control channel from Military Road on the north to an extension connection of the Billy Wolff Trail on the south.
