When complete, the Levi Carter Park Activity and Sports Complex will be a place where Omaha residents can gather, stay active, and connect. Designed as a true community hub, the approximately 114,000-square-foot facility brings recreation, wellness, and shared space together under one roof for people of all ages.
Inside, the complex is built for flexibility and everyday use. Ten indoor basketball courts can adapt for volleyball and other sports, supported by dedicated areas for wrestling and training. Beyond athletics, the building includes a fitness center, computer lab, classrooms, community meeting rooms, and telehealth spaces, making it a resource that supports both physical health and broader community needs.
The project extends outdoors as well, with fields, trails, and gathering spaces that encourage people to spend time outside and move through the park in new ways. These elements help connect the facility to the surrounding neighborhood and support year-round activity.
Altogether, the Levi Carter Park Activity and Sports Complex is designed to grow with the community it serves. By balancing active recreation with spaces for learning, wellness, and connection, the project creates a welcoming place that will support Omaha residents for years to come.
