Schemmer designed this 40-unit, transitional housing project under the direction of Central States Development. The Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, through an award of LIHTC, funded the 14-unit Housing for the Homeless and the Veterans Administration funded the 26-unit Christian Worship Center. The two components were constructed as one contiguous facility. The Housing for the Homeless component also houses the central kitchen and dining area, community room, administrative offices, public restrooms and tenant storage. The 0.87-acre site accommodates a parking lot for 27 cars. The two-story, frame construction complex was completed in late 2012.
