The City of Lincoln hired Schemmer to design a solution to rehabilitate approximately 10,000 feet of sanitary sewer trunk sewers in south Lincoln. The subdivision is fully developed and traditional open-cut methods of pipe rehabilitation would have significant impacts to adjacent properties and traffic flow within the area. Therefore, Schemmer recommended the existing pipe be rehabilitated utilizing pipe bursting trenchless technologies.
