Sullivan Supply retained Schemmer to develop a conceptual building design for a replacement facility to increase overall efficiency by combining operations from three existing locations while providing capacity to expand and grow. Upon approval of the program and concept design, Schemmer was hired to design the facility and site.
The new 65,000 SF pre-engineered metal building includes Sullivan Supply’s new corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution center. The corporate headquarters houses a showroom, offices, training and space for research and development.
Schemmer provided architecture, mechanical, site/civil and construction materials testing. The project was built under the design-assist construction method with Leinen Construction serving as construction manager.
