Project Details
The University of South Dakota (USD) Richardson Hall renovation project consisted of a 11,700 SF renovation that is to be completed in two phases.
Phase 1 renovated the existing third and fourth-floor restrooms, laundry rooms and kitchenettes. The renovation also included demolition of existing finishes and removal of concrete floor decking. Once the walls were exposed, additional fireproofing was installed. New concrete floors were placed sloping to multiple drains; and new finishes were installed.
Phase 2 of the Richardson Hall renovation renovated the residence rooms, lounges, and common spaces on the fourth floor. The project included demolition, framing, casework, finishes, specialties, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical upgrades.
