Project Details
Schemmer* designed Waterfall Plaza, a premier 33,000 SF retail and office development, in the fast-growing southeast area of Sioux Falls. Using rich building materials and working with the slope of the land, we were able to create two distinct projects. The lower level retail is visible on the east and north elevations. The upper level offices face west and south and are residential in scale and character; while the two-story façade on the retail side lends mass to the building.
The retail center opens to a plaza on the lower level and a unique waterfall and pond retention basin in front of the development. Individual, private entrances and well-lit interior spaces make the offices highly popular among small business owners.
