Project Details
Schemmer, teamed with Treanor Architects Student Life Studio, was chosen by Wayne State College for the programming and renovation of the 100,000 SF, nine-story residence hall containing 434 beds. The project was a renovation and remodel of the 1966 building. It included new study areas, restrooms, building finishes, mechanical systems, window replacement, and improvements to existing electrical and fire alarm systems to achieve code compliance and greater energy efficiency. The scope of services also included furniture selection and specification for all common and staff areas.
