Greg brings more than 25 years of experience in architecture, with a career spanning commercial, mixed-use, multi-family, industrial, hospitality, and faith-based projects. Before joining Schemmer, he spent 15 years running his own architecture practice, an experience that shaped his hands-on approach to design, project management, and building strong client relationships.

As Manager of Architecture in Schemmer’s Denver office, Greg is helping grow the firm’s presence throughout Colorado while focusing on thoughtful, sustainable design. He enjoys working through complex challenges with clients and project teams, finding practical solutions that balance creativity, performance, and long-term value.

Greg is also passionate about developing the next generation of architects and engineers. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado and the University of Denver, bringing his real-world experience into the classroom and helping young professionals grow as designers, problem-solvers, and communicators.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys staying active and spending time with his family. He’s a sports enthusiast who enjoys skiing, stand up paddleboarding, and volleyball, and takes full advantage of the opportunities Colorado provides to get outside.
