As a Senior Transportation Designer and graduate of the 2016/2017 Schemmer Leadership Academy, Kevin offers over 30 years of experience in civil and transportation engineering, with a strong focus on roadway design and CADD automation. His work has supported a wide range of public sector clients, including state departments of transportation, counties, and municipalities.

In his position, Kevin provides essential design support across multiple Schemmer departments and ensures compliance with standards set by state departments of transportation in Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma. As a Federal Aviation Administration-certified remote pilot, he utilizes drone technology to capture existing terrain data to enhance design accuracy and project delivery.

Kevin’s project portfolio includes key roles on notable projects such as I-80 Maxwell to Brady, U.S. 77 Beltway in Fremont, Lincoln South Beltway, North 24th Street Streetscape, and the U.S. 30 Schuyler to Rogers expressway upgrade.

With an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Surveying and CADD Technology, Kevin brings vast technical skills and a commitment to quality to every project.

• Enjoys creating 3D visualizations and developing custom programs that push CADD to the next level.
• Is fascinated by great white sharks and enjoys watching Shark Week. But he is afraid to swim in the ocean thanks to the movie Jaws.
