Konrad brings nearly three decades of experience in construction and leads Schemmer’s Construction Administration Department. He plays a key role in making sure projects are well coordinated, reviewing engineering, architectural, structural, and civil plans to help create clear, complete project manuals.

Throughout his career, Konrad has served as a construction administrator on a wide range of projects, including education, healthcare, multifamily housing, commercial, industrial, and senior living facilities. His experience gives him a strong understanding of how projects come together in the field and what it takes to keep them running smoothly.

He earned his degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is a graduate of Schemmer’s Leadership Academy. Konrad is also a member of the Construction Specifications Institute and the American Society for Health Care Engineering.

Konrad’s connection to construction started early. One of his first memories is being at the construction site of Memorial Stadium’s South End Zone as a child, an experience that stuck with him and helped shape his career path.

Outside of work, he enjoys hands-on projects, including building three wooden boats over the past 20 years. He is also a certified dry suit scuba diver.
