Loras has been well respected within his profession and by his clients for the past 40 years. He is very skilled in coordinating and conducting a wide range of soil behavior analyses, as well as monitoring the design of soils related to many types of projects built of and within the earth.  Project types include foundations for small to very large structures, towers, levees, dams, roadway and building site grading, railroad embankments, and bridges. Loras has built firm working relationships with a wide variety of clients, both public and private, who rely on his abilities to analyze and anticipate complex issues, quickly find solutions to unexpected challenges, and address individual needs.  During project construction Loras uses his knowledge of building materials to assist technicians in testing of concrete, masonry, and steel.  After construction he uses his knowledge of soil and building materials to assist clients and other engineers in forensic reviews.
