Alex has nine years of experience specializing in hydraulic analysis and roadway design. He is responsible for the hydraulic analysis of all types of projects with complex drainage or floodplain permitting, including all bridge modeling, culvert analysis, open channel flow and complex floodplain certifications for Schemmer. In addition to hydraulic analysis, Alex regulary works on roadway design projects for our transportation group. His roadway design experience focuses on preliminary and final design phases, GeoPAK modeling, cost estimates and plan reviews for submittal. Alex received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in civil engineering and is a graduate of the 2017/2018 Schemmer Leadership Academy class.

  • At home, he is always working on a custom project. Currently, he is building a dining room table with lumber sawn from dying trees his grandpa planted alongside his house.
