Schemmer is proud to share that Tyler Lerdahl, PE, Transportation Team Lead – Omaha, has completed the ACEC Nebraska Emerging Leaders Program, a professional development experience designed to help emerging professionals grow their leadership skills and business perspective within the architecture and engineering industry.

The program brings together participants from firms across Nebraska for conversations around leadership, decision-making, and the long-term impact leaders have on their teams and organizations. Tyler represented Schemmer throughout the program and actively engaged in the experience.

“We’re proud of Tyler for completing the ACEC Emerging Leaders program,” said Executive Vice President of Engineering Doug Holle. “He took full advantage of the opportunity, and experiences like this help develop strong, thoughtful leaders across our firm.”

The program offers time to step back from day-to-day project work and learn alongside peers from across the industry.

“This experience pushed me to think beyond my day-to-day role and look at leadership from a bigger-picture perspective,” Tyler said. “I’m grateful for the conversations, the shared experiences, and the chance to grow alongside other emerging leaders in our industry.”
