Schemmer's conceptual design of the new Gretna Public Library and City Hall has been featured in the Omaha World-Herald.
Schemmer was contracted by the City of Gretna, NE to provide conceptual architectural services that will illustrate the unifying of the Gretna Public Library and the Children's Library. The conceptual design also proposes a new City Hall that will share and connect with the two new libraries.
The conceptual design includes City Hall offices, front-line staff, a Main Library, a Children's Library, and a public meeting space while maintaining the "character" of Gretna.
