The Magic of Dental Care & Dental Office Design
Dental care and oral health are important parts of our lives. From a young age, we are encouraged to take good care of our teeth. For example, parents share the story of the tooth fairy as a way to promote good dental care for children – including daily habits like brushing and flossing.
According to Delta Dental’s Tooth Fairy Poll, the average rate for a tooth in the United States is $3.70. Since 1998, the poll has been collecting the average Tooth Fairy payouts. In addition, it compares it to stock market activity to show how the value of a lost tooth relates to the U.S. economy.
Aside from the tooth fairy, the dental office is really where the magic happens. Dentists are very important people whom we visit at least every six months to ensure we receive the dental care we need and that our oral health is in tip top shape. Above all, they help patients by diagnosing and treating dental issues, and developing better oral hygiene regimens.
Dental office design also plays an important role in a patient/dentist experience. That is to say, patients should be in an environment that feels comfortable and inviting. On the other hand, the space needs to perform efficiently for the dentist and dental hygienists too. Good dental office design doesn’t have to be a fairy tale…
