Midwest DCM’s Flex Industrial Warehouse Groundbreaking
Schemmer’s Dan Kerns, AIA, Commercial Market Leader, Manager of Architects and Senior Project Manager, was on hand for Midwest DCM’s 55,000 SF flex industrial warehouse groundbreaking in La Vista, Neb.
Project representatives from Midwest DCM, CymSTAR, La Vista’s Mayor, Sarpy County Economic Development, Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and Offutt Air Force Base were present to turn over the first shovelful of dirt, giving the official green light for construction to commence.
Flex Industrial Warehouse
Midwest DCM’s warehouse will have space available for multiple tenants. The first tenant in the space will be CymSTAR, a simulation engineering and manufacturing company. They will be utilizing 7,500 SF of the warehouse for an aviation simulator.
Schemmer is providing architectural; structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and geotechnical engineering; and survey services for the project.
The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2021.
