The Mirada Apartments
An apartment community in Lincoln, Nebraska by Krueger Development, the Mirada Apartments are luxury units that opened in phases in 2016 and 2017.
Phase 1 includes:
- 100,600 SF
- 64 units
- three-story market-rate apartment building
- underground parking
Phase 2 includes:
- 100,700 SF
- 56 units
- underground parking
Schemmer worked in conjunction with the owner’s design architect, Keith Dubas, who was responsible for the overall project design. The apartments range from one to three-bedroom and studio units.
Amenities at the Mirada include:
- a convertible indoor/outdoor swimming pool and hot tub with nearby fireplace
- an expansive 8,000 SF clubhouse
- a 24-hour fitness center
- a private theatre room with plush movie theatre seating
- a large club lounge with entertainment area and fireplace
- a luxury outdoor recreation area with grills and fireplaces
The site design benefits from underground parking, which enabled greater density of units per acre to be built as well as more green space.
