2022 Market to Market Relay
On Saturday, October 8, Schemmer completed the Market to Market Relay (M2M) from Omaha to Lincoln. Schemmer's team of runners placed 332nd overall out of 568 teams with a total time of 12:02:20!
Schemmer participated in the 15th annual Market to Market that took place on October 8th. Schemmer has participated annually since 2013. The Market to Market is a relay race that starts in Aksarben Village in Omaha and ends in the Lincoln Haymarket.
Nine Schemmer employees worked together to tackle 78 miles of trails. This year, the team saw some new faces that were willing to step up and endure the challenge with some of the seasoned Market to Market runners. The team finished 40 minutes before the expected finish time – talk about teamwork! From forgetting running shoes to setting new personal records (PRs), race day is full of surprises and fun times. Market to Market race times from past Schemmer runners are as follows:
- 2021, 12:08:13, 9.20 pace
- 2019, 9:31:00, 8:23 pace
