Schemmer to Exhibit at the Omaha SAME Industry Day Conference
Schemmer has been a sustaining member of the Omaha Post of SAME (The Society of American Military Engineers) for more than 45 years. This year, Schemmer will be exhibiting at the Omaha SAME Industry Day Conference from May 31st to June 2nd, 2023.

SAME was founded in 1920 to provide a link between the military and the private sector of architecture, engineering, and construction to benefit our national defense. The society has grown to be the leading organization in connecting the AEC community with all federal agencies to support infrastructure and facilities. SAME is also a leading organization in developing our future generations of architects and engineers by providing a student mentoring program and scholarships to students interested in pursuing STEM careers.
Schemmer's Sustaining Membership of SAME
Schemmer's membership of the Omaha Post of SAME started more than 45 years ago and we are honored that a past Schemmer President has served as the National SAME President as well. We participate in the local and national SAME conferences and have several employees actively involved with the Omaha Post.
As a firm, nearly a quarter of our work is for federal government agencies. SAME allows us to understand the most pressing challenges of the governmental agencies and to identify teaming partners we can work with to solve these challenges for our clients.
Schemmer also attends SAME student mentoring programs where together we help inspire students to pursue STEM and a career path in architecture and engineering.
