Schemmer volunteers at MATHCOUNTS Competition

MATHCOUNTS is a national enrichment, club and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement. Schemmer volunteers participated at the annual competition series in both Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska.
The Council Bluffs event on February 10th, was hosted and organized by the Grenville M. Dodge Chapter of the Iowa Engineering Society (IES). Schemmer’s Eric Deters, P.E., currently serving on the IES Board as the President, was a proctor and countdown round reader. Charly Huddleston, P.E., was a scorer and awards announcer, and Elizabeth Hunter, P.E., currently serving on the IES Board at the Treasurer, was a proctor. Matt Sutton, P.E., LEED AP, attended the Omaha event on February 11th, which was hosted by Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers – Eastern Chapter.
