Schemmer's Charles D. Huddleston, P.E., FACEC, Principal, Executive Vice President of the Engineering Division, was named a Fellow with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) during the organization’s 2016 fall meeting held in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The ACEC College of Fellows is an elite group of engineers who have made significant contributions to the engineering profession through their experience, knowledge and networking abilities. Huddleston has been actively involved with ACEC for 38 years. He has served as a President of ACEC Nebraska as well as on various board and committee assignments. He joins more than 300 Fellows who have been recognized by their colleagues for exemplary contributions to ACEC and the profession.

Huddleston has been with Schemmer for 12 years overseeing the firm’s engineering division, which delivers civil, transportation, water/wastewater and geotechnical engineering, survey, construction materials testing and construction contract administration. He has worked on many significant projects throughout his career. Recently, he played an instrumental role with the Metro Crossing and Whispering Oaks Subdivision projects in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Huddleston serves on Schemmer’s Board of Directors and is a shareholder of the firm.
