Signage Installed as Ruhlman’s Steakhouse Nears Completion

In likely the most notable progress yet, Ruhlman’s Steakhouse has officially received its nametag on the front of the building.

A lifelong dream is nearing completion in Ashland, NE as Ruhlman’s Steakhouse moves into the final stages of construction, the centerpiece of the new Oxbow Crossing development.
The groundbreaking ceremony for Oxbow Crossing took place last year, with brothers Matt, Mark, and Phil Ruhlman officially starting construction on the project. For Phil Ruhlman, the development represents the culmination of a 40-year vision to create a community hub in Ashland.
“This will bring people into the community,” said Ashland Mayor Jim Anderson. “It’s another excuse to come down to the nice steakhouse. It will increase our valuation and sales tax.”
Located along Highway 6, Oxbow Crossing will encompass more than just the steakhouse. The development also includes a new Bryan Health Clinic, a Runza restaurant, and a modern apartment building with 48 units. Architectural and engineering services for the project were provided by Schemmer.
The project’s location, situated near the Iron Horse Golf Course and surrounded by hundreds of homes, is expected to benefit not only residents but also nearby businesses like The Beanery and the Bar and Bait.
Ashland officials see Oxbow Crossing as a catalyst for growth, attracting new residents and boosting the local economy. With its diverse offerings and focus on community, Oxbow Crossing promises to be a vibrant addition to the Ashland landscape.
